Job Summary:

Shifts: Afternoons(8 hours)
Guaranteed Hours: 40 hrs/week
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at facility in Michigan. The LPN will be responsible for providing direct patient care, administering medications, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure the highest quality of care for our patients.
Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) or physician.
2. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers.
3. Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes or abnormalities to the healthcare team.
4. Assist with patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
5. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and ensure continuity of care.
6. Educate patients and their families about their medical conditions and treatment plans.
7. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
8. Adhere to all facility policies and procedures to ensure patient safety and quality of care.
Qualifications and Skills:
1. Valid LPN license in the state of Michigan.
2. Proven experience working as an LPN in a healthcare setting.
3. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
4. Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
5. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
6. Knowledge of medical terminology and basic patient care practices.
7. CPR certification.
8. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
