Job Title: Certified Medical Assistant
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will assist healthcare providers in delivering high-quality patient care and support the overall functioning of our medical practice.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures
- Obtain and record patient vital signs
- Perform routine laboratory tests and administer medications as directed
- Prepare treatment rooms for patient visits
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
- Schedule patient appointments and assist with patient referrals
- Provide patient education and support
- Ensure compliance with infection control and safety protocols
Qualifications and Skills:
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification required
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Previous experience working in a medical office or clinic preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in basic computer skills
- Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures
- Ability to prioritize and multitask effectively
