Job Title: Registered Nurse (Emergency Room)
Job Summary:
As a Registered Nurse working in the Emergency Room, you will be responsible for providing immediate medical care and treatment to patients presenting with a wide range of illnesses and injuries. You will work in a fast-paced environment, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure timely and efficient patient care.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Assessing and triaging patients upon arrival to determine the urgency of their condition
- Administering medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Monitoring patient vital signs and response to treatment
- Performing emergency procedures such as CPR and intubation
- Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans
- Providing education and support to patients and their families
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date medical records
Qualifications and Skills:
- Active RN license in the state of practice
- BLS and ACLS certification
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in an Emergency Room setting
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to remain calm and focused in high-pressure situations
- Flexibility to work rotating shifts, weekends, and holidays
