Job Title: Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA)
Job Summary:
As a Licensed Nursing Assistant, you will work under the supervision of registered nurses to provide basic patient care in healthcare settings. Your primary role will be to assist patients with activities of daily living and contribute to their overall comfort and wellbeing.
Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Assist patients with bathing, dressing, grooming, and other personal hygiene tasks.
2. Help patients with mobility by transferring them in and out of bed or wheelchairs.
3. Take and record vital signs, such as temperature, blood pressure, and pulse.
4. Serve meals and help patients with feeding as needed.
5. Provide emotional support and companionship to patients.
6. Assist with medical procedures under the direction of a registered nurse.
7. Keep patient rooms clean and organized.
8. Document patient care activities accurately and timely.
Qualifications and Skills:
1. Current certification as a Licensed Nursing Assistant.
2. High school diploma or equivalent.
3. Ability to handle physical demands of the job, such as lifting and bending.
4. Compassionate and empathetic attitude towards patients.
5. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
6. Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
