Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Med Surg Adult unit. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care, collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, and maintain accurate patient records.
Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Assess and evaluate patient conditions
2. Administer medications and treatments as ordered by physicians
3. Monitor patient progress and report any changes to the healthcare team
4. Educate patients and families on healthcare practices and post-discharge instructions
5. Assist in coordinating patient care plans
6. Ensure compliance with hospital policies and procedures
7. Maintain a clean and safe patient environment
8. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care
Qualifications and Skills:
1. Current RN license in the state of practice
2. BLS certification
3. 2+ years of experience in a Med Surg Adult unit
4. Strong communication and interpersonal skills
5. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
6. Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
7. Attention to detail and accuracy
