Job Title: Registered Nurse (LTC)
Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team at a Long Term Care facility. The Registered Nurse will be responsible for providing quality nursing care to residents in a long-term care setting.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Assessing and monitoring residents' health conditions
- Administering medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Collaborating with healthcare team members to create individualized care plans
- Providing emotional support and advocacy for residents and their families
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date medical records
- Participating in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss resident care plans
- Ensuring compliance with all healthcare regulations and standards
Qualifications and Skills:
- Valid RN license in the state of employment
- Previous experience in long-term care or geriatric nursing preferred
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- CPR certification
- Knowledge of electronic medical records systems
