Job Summary:
We are seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to join our Med/Surg team. The ideal candidate will assist healthcare professionals in providing patient care in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Responsibilities and Duties:
- Assist healthcare professionals with patient examinations and procedures
- Take vital signs and record patient information
- Administer medications and assist with medication management
- Perform basic laboratory tests and procedures
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
- Provide support to patients and their families throughout their healthcare journey
Qualifications and Skills:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of a certified medical assistant program
- Current certification as a Medical Assistant
- Previous experience in a Med/Surg setting preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities
- Attention to detail and accuracy in patient care
