Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and
experienced Cardiac Sonographer to join our team on a day shift basis for a
13-week assignment. The Cardiac Sonographer will be responsible for performing
diagnostic echocardiographic procedures on patients to assess cardiac anatomy
and function. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cardiac
ultrasound techniques and possess excellent communication skills to collaborate
effectively with patients and healthcare providers.
Responsibilities:

Perform echocardiographic examinations using
ultrasound equipment to evaluate cardiac structures and function.

Prepare patients for procedures, explaining the
process and answering any questions they may have.

Position patients properly to obtain optimal
images and recordings.
·
Operate ultrasound equipment and manipulate
controls to adjust settings and optimize image quality.
·
Analyze images and recordings to assess cardiac
anatomy, chamber dimensions, wall motion, and valvular function.

Assist cardiologists and other healthcare
providers in interpreting test results and making diagnostic decisions.
·
Maintain accurate patient records and
documentation of procedures performed.
·
Adhere to safety protocols and infection control
measures to ensure patient and staff safety.
