Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled CT Tech to join our team in Klawock. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing high quality CT scans while ensuring the safety and comfort of patients. This position requires a strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Perform CT scans in accordance with department protocols
- Ensure the proper positioning of patients to obtain the necessary images
- Monitor patients for any signs of distress during the scanning process
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure patient confidentiality
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide optimal patient care
- Calibrate and maintain equipment to ensure optimal performance
Qualifications and Skills:
- Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field
- ARRT certification in CT required
- Current state licensure as a Radiologic Technologist
- Proficiency in using CT scan equipment and software
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Basic life support certification required
