Job Title: CT Tech
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled CT Tech to join our team and provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced medical environment. The CT Tech will be responsible for operating CT scan equipment to produce diagnostic images for radiologists and physicians to interpret. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional patient care.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Perform CT scans on patients in accordance with established protocols
- Prepare patients for procedures and explain the process to ensure their comfort and understanding
- Ensure equipment is properly maintained and in good working order
- Monitor patients during scans and address any concerns or issues as they arise
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and timely results
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations to ensure the well-being of patients and staff
Qualifications and Skills:
- Certification in Radiologic Technology
- ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification in CT
- Prior experience working as a CT Tech preferred
- Strong technical skills and ability to operate imaging equipment effectively
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
