Title: Registered Nurse - Med-Surg Adult, Orthopedic

Location: Kingsport, TN 37660

Job Description:

Provide comprehensive nursing care to adult patients with orthopedic conditions during night shift (7pm - 7am) on a 36/48 schedule.
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care plans.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans.
Administer medications, perform treatments, and provide wound care.
Monitor patients' vital signs, symptoms, and responses to treatment.
Educate patients and families on conditions, treatments, and self-care.
Assist with admission, transfer, and discharge processes.
Maintain accurate documentation in electronic medical record system.

Qualifications:

Current RN licensure in Tennessee.
Minimum [Insert Number] years of RN experience in medical-surgical or orthopedic setting preferred.
BLS certification required; ACLS preferred.
Strong clinical assessment and communication skills.

Note: Traveler’s permanent residence must be 100 miles or more from the hospital’s service area.
