Job Description:

Are you a skilled and dedicated Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) ready to join our healthcare team in Decorah, IA? We're seeking a CRNA who thrives in providing safe and effective anesthesia care across various surgical settings, including Orthopedics, ENT, podiatry, general surgery, OB/GYN, cataracts, and pediatric dental procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough pre-anesthetic assessments and evaluations to create personalized anesthesia care plans for each patient.
• Administer anesthesia, utilizing techniques such as general, regional, and local anesthesia, tailored to the specific needs of patients and procedures.
• Monitor patients throughout the perioperative period, adjusting anesthesia levels and interventions as needed to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care and safety.
• Manage post-anesthesia recovery and provide effective pain management interventions to promote patient comfort and recovery.
• Perform a variety of procedures, including lumbar epidural catheters, spinal anesthesia, auxiliary brachial plexus blocks, and other regional anesthesia blocks.

Requirements:

• Master's degree in Nurse Anesthesia from an accredited program.
• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in Iowa.
• Certification as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) by the NBCRNA.
• BLS or ACLS certifications required.
• Prior experience as a CRNA preferred.
• Familiarity with Orthopedics, ENT, podiatry, general surgery, OB/GYN, cataracts, and pediatric dental procedures.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

Pay Package Breakdown:

• Hourly Rate: $150 per hour
• Weekly Stipend: $1162
• On W2: 121 hours
• Total Weekly: $6000
