Shift: Night
Guaranteed hours: 36 hours
Pay: $65-70/hr
Job Summary:
The RN-ICU-MS-NY is responsible for providing specialized nursing care to patients in the intensive care unit and medical-surgical unit in a healthcare facility in New York. They will assess patient conditions, administer medications, monitor vital signs, and collaborate with medical teams to ensure optimal patient care.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Monitor and assess patient conditions in the ICU and medical-surgical unit
- Administer medications as prescribed by physicians
- Monitor and record vital signs
- Collaborate with medical teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures
- Participate in continuing education and training programs
Qualifications and Skills:
- Valid RN license in the state of New York
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- 2+ years of experience in ICU and medical-surgical nursing
- BLS and ACLS certification
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-stress environment
- Attention to detail and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
