Contract: 13 Weeks (Extension Available)
Shift: 12 Hours (Night)
Guarantee: 36 hours a week
Pay Rate: $792/week for local and $879/week for travel
As a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), you will be directly involved in providing exceptional and compassionate care to patients in healthcare settings. Your primary responsibilities will involve assisting registered nurses and other healthcare professionals in delivering basic medical and personal care to patients. This crucial role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills to ensure the well-being and comfort of individuals under your care.
Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Assisting patients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
2. Monitoring patients' vital signs, such as temperature, blood pressure, and heart rate.
3. Assisting in feeding patients and ensuring proper nutrition intake.
4. Administering medication under the supervision of registered nurses.
5. Turning and repositioning patients to prevent bedsores.
Qualifications and Skills:
1. High school diploma or GED equivalent.
2. Successful completion of a state-approved Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) program.
3. Current CNA certification and registration with the appropriate regulatory body.
