Job: MRI Tech
Job Location: Boston, MA
Contract: 13 Weeks (Extension Available)
Shift: Day
Guarantee: 40 hours a week
Pay Rate: $2800/week local and $3000/week for travel
REQUIREMENTS:
- Perform all required procedures through proper positioning and technique, consistently demonstrating good judgment in evaluating the resulting diagnostic studies.
- Screen patient before exam for any contraindications or precautionary measures pertaining to the exam (e.g. pain, claustrophobia, allergies, etc.).
- Obtain and review the requisition for examination to obtain information such as doctor’s order, patient history, and any other special requirements.
- Thoroughly explain procedure and answer any patient questions in order to alleviate patient anxiety and facilitate patient cooperation.
- Monitor the condition of any patient within the department and assist the radiologist in performing any needed medical attention.
