Job Description

Job: Social Worker 
Job Location: Concord, MA
Contract: 13 Weeks (Extension Available)
Shift: Days
Guarantee: 40 hours a week
Pay Rate: $2100/week local and $2300/week for travel

SKILLS:

• Competence and experience in clinical practice.
• Ability to conduct and document Psychosocial Assessments.
• Knowledge of psychiatric terminology, DSM V criteria, basics of Psychopharmacology; knowledge of requirements for mandated reporting, and of hospital and community policies and resources.
• Communication skills.
• Computer skills.
• Must have the ability to read, write, and communicate in English.

REQUIREMENTS:

• 2 years or experience required in clinical social work practice. Experience with the psychiatric population strongly recommended.
• 1 year in a short term acute care hospital setting required
• Licensure and/or Certification
• LCSW or LICSW preferred.
• BLS healthcare provider preferred but not required.
• CPI required (Emerson may be willing to provide as SW is less likely to have this certification than nursing unless they come from a dedicated BH facility/unit, will be based on candidate).
