Job title: Registered Nurse - MedSurg / Telemetry
Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team in the MedSurg / Telemetry department. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and monitoring patients' conditions in a fast-paced medical-surgical environment.
Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Assessing patients' conditions and implementing nursing care plans
2. Administering medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
3. Monitoring patients' vital signs and telemetry readings
4. Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care for patients
5. Educating patients and their families about their conditions and treatment plans
6. Documenting patient care and maintaining accurate medical records
7. Adhering to hospital policies and procedures to ensure patient safety and confidentiality
8. Participating in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes
Qualifications and Skills:
1. Valid RN license in the state of practice
2. Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) is preferred
3. Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a medical-surgical or telemetry setting
4. BLS and ACLS certification required
5. Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
6. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
7. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
8. Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights and weekends
Active MA license required at time of submissions
