Job Title: CT Technologist
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled CT Technologist to join our team in providing high-quality imaging services to our patients. The CT Technologist will operate computed tomography (CT) scanners to produce cross-sectional images of patients' internal organs and tissues for diagnosis and treatment purposes.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Performing CT scans on patients as requested by referring physicians
- Ensuring patients are properly positioned for accurate imaging results
- Monitoring patients throughout the scanning process and ensuring their safety
- Calibrating and maintaining CT equipment to ensure optimal performance
- Working closely with radiologists to interpret images and provide accurate results
- Maintaining accurate patient records and documentation
- Adhering to all safety protocols and regulations
Qualifications and Skills:
- Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field
- ARRT certification in CT imaging
- State licensure as a CT Technologist
- Strong knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Prior experience working in a healthcare setting is preferred
