Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
Job Summary:
As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), you will be responsible for providing basic nursing care to patients under the supervision of a registered nurse or physician. Your duties will include monitoring patient vital signs, administering medications, and assisting with patient care plans.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes to healthcare team
- Administer medications as prescribed by healthcare provider
- Assist with dressing changes, wound care, and other patient treatments
- Document patient care and progress in medical records
- Educate patients and family members on healthcare needs and treatment plans
- Collaborate with healthcare team to ensure patient needs are met
Qualifications and Skills:
- Valid LPN license in the state of practice
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Basic computer skills for documentation purposes
- CPR certification
