Job Title: RN MedSurg/Telemetry
Location: WaterLoo, IA
Shift: Days 4*12 Hours
Duration: 13 Weeks (48 guaranteed)
Job Summary:
As an RN in the MedSurg/Telemetry unit, you will be responsible for providing direct patient care, monitoring patients' conditions, and administering medications. You will work closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for patients.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Assessing and monitoring patients' vital signs
- Administering medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Collaborating with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans
- Educating patients and their families on their conditions and treatment plans
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records
- Responding to emergencies and providing immediate care as needed
- Adhering to hospital policies and procedures to ensure patient safety and quality care
Qualifications and Skills:
- Valid RN license
- 2 years current MS, PACU and/or post operative care - Required
- Tele Strip Reading experience - Required
- Cardiac Drip experience - Required
