Job Title: Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA)
Job Summary:
The Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) provides basic nursing care to patients under the supervision of a registered nurse or licensed practical nurse. LNAs assist with activities of daily living, monitor patient vitals, and provide support to patients and their families.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Assist with bathing, dressing, and feeding patients
- Take and record patient vitals
- Assist with ambulation and transferring patients
- Monitor patients for any changes in condition and report to the nursing staff
- Provide emotional support to patients and their families
- Assist with cleaning and maintaining patient rooms
- Follow all policies and procedures to ensure patient safety and confidentiality
Qualifications and Skills:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of an accredited LNA training program
- Current LNA license in the state of employment
- CPR certification
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
