Job Title: Surgical Technologist
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Surgical Technologist to assist in surgical procedures by preparing and sterilizing instruments, equipment, and operating rooms. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of surgical procedures, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Prepare and sterilize surgical instruments and equipment
- Assist surgical team during procedures by passing instruments and supplies
- Maintain a sterile field during surgical procedures
- Anticipate the needs of the surgical team and patients
- Ensure all equipment is properly maintained and functioning
- Assist with patient positioning and transport
- Comply with all hospital policies and procedures
Qualifications and Skills:
- Certification or diploma in surgical technology
- Previous experience working as a Surgical Technologist
- Strong understanding of surgical procedures and techniques
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
