Job Title: ICU/ER Rotating Registered Nurse
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our ICU/ER team on a rotating basis. The ideal candidate will have experience working in both intensive care and emergency room settings. This position requires quick thinking and the ability to adapt to high-stress situations.
Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Provide direct patient care in the ICU and ER settings
2. Monitor patients closely and respond to changes in condition
3. Administer medications and treatments as ordered by physicians
4. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to create a comprehensive care plan
5. Document patient information accurately and timely
6. Educate patients and their families on treatment plans and aftercare instructions
7. Participate in emergency response situations as needed
Qualifications and Skills:
1. Valid RN license in the state of practice
2. BLS and ACLS certification
3. Minimum of 2 years of experience in ICU and ER settings
4. Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
5. Ability to work well under pressure
6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
7. Willingness to work rotating shifts, including nights and weekends
