Job title: Speech Language Pathologist
Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Speech Language Pathologist to join our team. In this role, you will work with individuals of all ages who have communication and swallowing disorders. You will assess, diagnose, and provide therapy to help improve their speech, language, and swallowing abilities.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Conduct evaluations to determine the nature and extent of speech and language disorders
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Provide therapy to improve speech, language, and swallowing abilities
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, educators, and caregivers to ensure comprehensive care
- Keep detailed records of patient progress and update treatment plans as needed
- Stay current on research and best practices in speech language pathology
Qualifications and Skills:
- Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology
- Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) through ASHA
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Compassion and patience when working with individuals with communication disorders
