Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) Med-Surg
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Med-Surg unit. The RN will be responsible for providing quality nursing care to patients in a medical-surgical setting. This role requires strong clinical skills, critical thinking abilities, and a commitment to delivering excellent patient care.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Assessing patients' conditions and administering medication as needed
- Monitoring and recording vital signs
- Collaborating with physicians and healthcare team members to create individualized care plans
- Educating patients and their families on health management and preventive care
- Implementing and evaluating nursing interventions
- Maintaining accurate patient records and documentation
- Ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards and protocols
Qualifications and Skills:
- Valid RN license in the state of practice
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a medical-surgical setting
- BLS certification
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of nursing principles and practices
