Location: Arcata, CA 95518
Shift: 7:00am - 7:30pm
Guaranteed hours: 36 hours
Pay: $60-62/hr
Job Summary:
As an RN in the Med/Surg department, you will be responsible for providing quality care to patients with a variety of medical conditions. You will collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals to assess, diagnose, and treat patients, as well as educate patients and their families on managing their health.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Perform comprehensive assessments of patients
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Monitor patients' vital signs and progress
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare team members
- Educate patients and families on health conditions and treatment plans
- Document patient care and maintain accurate medical records
Qualifications and Skills:
- Current RN license in the state of practice
- BLS certification
- Minimum of 1 year of Med/Surg nursing experience
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks
