Job Summary:

Guaranteed Hours: 40
We are currently seeking a qualified Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing patient care before, during, and after surgical procedures in the operating room. This individual must have a strong understanding of surgical procedures, sterile techniques, and patient care.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care before, during, and after surgical procedures
- Maintain a sterile environment in the operating room
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare team members to ensure patient safety and comfort
- Monitor patient vital signs and respond to any changes in condition
- Assist with surgical procedures as needed
- Administer medications and anesthesia as directed by the surgeon or anesthesiologist
- Document patient care accurately and in a timely manner
Qualifications and Skills:
- Valid RN license in the state of Massachusetts
- BLS and ACLS certification
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in an operating room setting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make quick decisions
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
