Shift: working every weekend / rotating shifts
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate HI-ACUTE Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide direct patient care and support in a fast-paced, high-acuity setting. This role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a strong ability to work well under pressure.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and feeding
- Take vital signs and observe for any changes in patient condition
- Perform basic nursing procedures under the supervision of a licensed nurse
- Document patient observations and report any concerns to the nursing team
- Provide emotional support and comfort to patients and their families
- Maintain a clean and organized patient care environment
Qualifications and Skills:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of a state-approved CNA training program
- Current certification as a CNA
- Basic life support (BLS) certification
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including nights and weekends
