Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: 12 hour nights, 7p-7a, with 2 out of 3 weekends
Guaranteed Hours: 36hrs/week
Pay Rate: $50-$55/hr
As an L&D Registered Nurse (RN), you will be responsible for providing care and support to expectant mothers before, during, and after childbirth. You will work closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure the well-being of both mother and baby.
Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Monitor the mother and baby's vital signs during labor and delivery
2. Assist with the delivery of the baby and provide immediate postpartum care
3. Educate new mothers on breastfeeding, newborn care, and postpartum self-care
4. Administer medications and interventions as necessary
5. Document patient care and progress accurately
6. Collaborate with other healthcare team members to provide comprehensive care to patients
Qualifications and Skills:
- Valid RN license in the state of Wisconsin
- BLS certification
- Previous experience in labor and delivery preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-stress environment
