Shift: Variable Shifts- will be based on census and facility need
Guaranteed Hours: 40hrs/week
Pay Rate: $65-$68/hr
As a Licensed Practical Nurse in the Home Infusion - Specialty Services - Medical setting, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to patients receiving specialized medical treatments in the comfort of their own homes. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure all medical needs are met and patients receive the best possible care.
Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Administering prescribed medications and treatments to patients according to physician orders
2. Monitoring patient vital signs and reporting any changes or concerns to the healthcare team
3. Educating patients and caregivers on proper medication administration and disease management
4. Collaborating with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans
5. Documenting patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately and timely
6. Participating in quality improvement initiatives and ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements
7. Providing emotional support and compassionate care to patients and their families
Qualifications and Skills:
1. Current LPN license in the state of practice
2. Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience, preferably in home infusion or specialty services
3. BLS certification
4. Strong communication and interpersonal skills
5. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
6. Attention to detail and strong organization skills
7. Flexibility and adaptability to changing patient needs and schedules
