As a Certified Nursing Assistant specializing in Medical Equipment, you will be responsible for assisting healthcare professionals in the proper setup, calibration, and maintenance of medical equipment used in patient care. You will play a crucial role in ensuring that medical devices are functioning correctly and safely, providing quality care to patients.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Assist healthcare staff in setting up and calibrating medical equipment for patient use.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of medical devices as needed.
- Ensure that all equipment is functioning properly and safely.
- Provide training to patients on how to use medical devices correctly.
- Document all maintenance and repair activities in the patient's medical records.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to address any equipment-related issues promptly.
Qualifications and Skills:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Certification as a Nursing Assistant (CNA)
- Proven experience in handling medical equipment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
