Job Title: Registered Nurse: PACU PERM
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team in the Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) on a permanent basis. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills, knowledge of PACU procedures, and a passion for providing high-quality patient care.
Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Monitor patients recovering from anesthesia and assist with their post-operative care
2. Assess patients' vital signs and overall condition, and provide appropriate interventions as needed
3. Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans
4. Educate patients and their families on post-operative care instructions and medications
5. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation
6. Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and standards of care
Qualifications and Skills:
1. Valid RN license in the state of employment
2. Minimum of 2 years of experience in PACU or critical care setting
3. BLS and ACLS certification
4. Strong communication and interpersonal skills
5. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
6. Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Nursing preferred
