Job Title: RN-PCU/IMC PERM
Location- Texas
Shift Information: Days/Nights - 36 hours per week
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated RN to join our Progressive Care Unit (PCU) and Intermediate Care (IMC) team on a permanent basis. The RN will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment, monitoring and treating patients with complex medical conditions, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care plans
- Monitoring patients' vital signs and symptoms, and administering medications as needed
- Collaborating with physicians and other healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans
- Educating patients and their families on their conditions and treatment plans
- Responding to medical emergencies and providing assistance as needed
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records
- Adhering to all hospital policies and procedures
Qualifications and Skills:
- Valid RN license in the state of practice
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in PCU/IMC or similar setting
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team setting
- Attention to detail and critical thinking skills
