Job Title: Post Anesthesia Care Unit Nurse (PACU RN)

We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Post Anesthesia Care Unit Nurse (PACU RN) to join our team. Responsibilities:

• Provide post-anesthesia nursing care to patients recovering from anesthesia after surgery or procedures.
• Monitor patients' vital signs and condition closely, ensuring timely intervention if any complications arise.
• Assess patients' pain levels and administer appropriate pain management medications as prescribed.
• Collaborate with the surgical team and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care transition from the operating room to the PACU.
• Educate patients and their families about post-operative care instructions and potential complications to watch for at home.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including documentation of nursing assessments, interventions, and outcomes.

Shift: 1pm - 9:30pm M-F with 6 - 8 days of On Call per month required

Requirements:

• BLS, ACLS, & PALS
• TX or Multistate RN License
• Strong Phase I PACU experience. 
• CCU & Pediatric experience is a MUST.
• 2-years STRONG PACU experience. Please do not submit candidates that do not have 2 years. Must be able to recover critical care patients.
